Well I feel satisfied with this mix, took a few takes and alot of mixing/recording with effects, hopefully this sounds good Mario! I thoroughly enjoyed making this tune as great as it could be and of course giving the great flavor of the PMG. =)

Such a nice light tough this has. Just floats along with just enough tension to carry it without becoming "elevator music".

Nice description! That is the the trick with the Pat Metheny Group as well, where the music could get away with being background music but by no means is it meant for background music and by no means is "static" or "Muzak" like elevator music.

Exceptional general composition work, and a real musical wonder the flute and keys lead lines. I'm glad you liked the bass line, I think it adds that PMG sound flavor that we like so much !!! You could hire Pat for your tours, with the permission of Mr. Mays! :D
