Thanks a bunch to R1772, Pcconey and Tof for that bouncy moment. 10 tracks on my project, I tried to mix as well as I could... This track needs a groovy deep bass now ! :)

In fact it is a "one two three" as you say, it has to go fast or it doesn't work... and if I spend too much time on the mix it's getting worse, I'm not good at all, too many complicated technical things, my brain is not made for that ! Fortunately I sometimes get the chance to have a magician around :)

@marmotte In my opinion you are just fine in mixing this track. Your vocals are sounding sweet and are just enough in front of the mix. Your primary material had several overdoubs with each time a bit loss of quality. So you have done the best you could done.Due to those technical circumstances I tried to found a wiki band with some music friends for exchanging and arranging single tracks but none of the invited people did join*lol* This is not a complaint but only a fact:):):)

Thanks for your support. I don't really mix, only try to adjust the levels between the tracks and turn left and right not to have everything in the middle but when I use different speakers or earphones, I don't get the same result... :)

@R1772mixing is more then "just in front of the mix"What guitar did you use for the template?did you overdoub the guitar?@marmotte,you have a wonderful gift that doesn't need any extras,love your voice!

Hi Fanne, I agree 100% with you and I´m sure it was a little misunderstanding.What I meaned is: From my actual point of view my template included too many instruments (synth bass, drums, several small lead- and rhythm-synths).I supposed "only" a singer would join. But others did join too, with additional bass and drums and guitar. This is fun of course
and I was happy about all this. The guitar was done by Tofzegrit for example. Marmotte was only able to put her singing into a given track which already had several overdoubs and double instruments. She could not mix any of the instruments because separated instrument tracks had not been available. Regards Rainer +1
