My Guitar, My Love
Providing great strength,
it helps damn the tears,
though inevitably weakness will rise.
Often unheeded,
an innate sense warns me,
my ways lead to certain demise.
Searching my soul
is like stumbling through darkness,
and a woman will bring no return
My mind's every torment,
all my sorrow and pain
melt away as my finger tips burn.
