Biography

I started playing bass in 1971. After listening to Geand Funk Railroad's closer to home.
I became the lead singer of the Vejtabils in 1980, and changed the words in Wild Thing,
to "Ed King, I think that you stink, You went and raised the age to drink from 18 to 21.
Our guitarist was only 15. We recorded the song and it becomes number one on the WBCN
top 10 countdown in Boston And we even beat Bruce Springsteen for number 1 when his
album "The River" got 5 out of the top 10. But not #1.

Not that we were that good. And aside from raising the drinking age I really didn't
have anything else against him. But I was inspired to build a recording studio in my basement.
A nice little 8 track tascam 1/2" tape and 16 channel board. Had a 15' x 20' main room.
And a 8' x 15' control room. I recorded a few different bands there over the years.
Now I have a Mackie DL16s digital smake that I use with Ableton to record myself and my friends

I'm 68 and just playing for fun these days. I have a drum machine that sounds OK.
But there's nothing like a real set of acoustic drums mic'd up right to make your mix pop.

I hope to contribute to other recordings, as well as posting some of my current songs with and without the drum machine.
