Biography
Played bass in HS. Never read music; made my own tabs so I could play with the school stage band. Went in the army and didn't play again for 20 or so years. Bought a cheap bass and a cheesy little amp (with a sign on the front said, "Ben the Champ") on Craigs list for $75 a couple years ago. Found 3 to 6 minutes once in awhile to play with my lonesome self (the bass, that is). What with 2 kids and a wife.
Still don't read music; tend to play with the "Loops" when not having heard one all the way through (impatience is my middle name, though legally it's Sue), but doing pretty good just the same.
