hey Dick yeah I saw they already jumped to the disco template, anyway I still looking for what to do haha I usually don't know what I am going to do, maybe metal sounds good who knows? but not my main thing, some jazz funk would be awesome, gonna make my mind on the weekend lol

Below the very first screenshot of the "disco" group video collab, for the sake of letting you know there is work in progress :)

Rumors have it the boys are likely to be joined by aleonz, and there's a bit of stage space left for a horn section, too.
We'll probably "leak" the template sometime soon so you can listen in and check that out.

I've also had the pleasure to listen in on the Rockers around Drumshtics, and their tune is also coming along, while the procrastinating Baer claims to be waiting for the arrival of the new headphone preamp, which should arrive shortly.

Whoever feels like starting a group and feels capable of providing a template track (doesn't have to be drums, but needs to provide the groove & structure) is very welcome :)

sorry it took a bit, but after noticing the folks had already started a blues gang in the meantime, I've finally found the time, mood and stellar constellation to lay down some reggae collab template tonight :)
I hope wjl will cover the bass needs and kimbo will add some smooth guitar... if anyone would like to vocalize or hornify a reggae tune, let me know :)
Also really happy to see whitedrum and all the others that have been added to Dicks group chart in post 1... this whole thing will cover quite a lot of folks and styles, really really looking forward!

Edit: just saw that you're a fan of Larnell Lewis? So am I - great guy and great player as well (like everyone in Snarky). Saw him in Frankfurt, he was awesome!

I will set up a wikiloops-hosted band project for you as a start (you may upload a template track and the video file there) - you being a drummer, I do assume you'd like to start a jam/group, correct?
Seeing that we have disco, blues, rock, reggae and songo/world grooves so far, it would be especially cool if you'd like to add some other style or flavor, but anything goes...
If you like to, let me know whom else you'd like to involve in that collab,
otherwise we might as well publish your template here publicly and see who'd like to hop on :)

I've been enjoying the videos I have received so far, and quite a lot of time goes into assembling them as they are submitted. Rendering these videos takes forever and three days, but I think I'm safe saying that the first one by our disco group is moving towards the final cut phase.
I see some awesome jams coming together, thank you very much to the by now 14 peple who've already submitted some video, I'm really happy to see there is that much activity (I knew it would be hard to get you to get your cams out...:) )
Last & forthe fun of it, let me share another screenshot from my video cutting sessions, without "leaking" who that is:

Just bumping this thread with some progress-news :)

To all who are still about to do their video takes, here's a little funny sketch I picked up from the reggae group - it does make sense to think about positioning a little ;)

I've spent most of today mixing, cutting and rendering the "disco" groups video, and I keep seeing really creative video takes as they are submitted via the groups ... keep it coming folks, I'm absolutely aware this is a bit more time-taking then doing a quick mp3 remix, but the results look very rewarding to me.
I'll keep you updated, now have a nice weekend yall!

There are at least three more groups in the process of putting together their video collaboration, and I'll once more share a screenshot from my video cutting desk with you tonight:
