after a good pause from the code (been busy trying to buy a piece of land) I got back at it today. Fixed some little optical bugs, trying to eliminate some ugly scrollbars that eventually show up around the right coloumn of the jam view (its really hard to prevent that, since I havent found a way of limiting the alternative results shown there in a way that fits in all cases - either, it looks weird because there are just a few results shown, or there are too many and the scrollbars show up... sessions take diffrent space, depending on how many people take part... its a real pain in the butt.)
Then again, I did some SEO jobs to get wiki back in the race for top search engine ranking... Bing has let me down all the way, indexing only 40 pages right now, whereas google says its got 2300 pages indexed... dont ask, I dont understand all that either.
So I finally opened up a twitter account for wikiloops, and while I was at it, added buttons to each jam with which you may share individual sessions on FB or Twitter. Looks convenient to me, and could be the right thing to get them social networks rumblin'. Theres more impact in theese sites than anyone would imagine, so maybe thats the right thing to do. Now lets wait and see where this goes. Sorry to say, I have not fixed the problem mentioned by Mando. It would not be hard to do really, I just havent thought of the right term to display, offering users to add tabs when there is none. "add tabs" looks kind of weird, who would do that without any clue... I'm undecided.
For the record: We are at 1108 users, Jamcount is at 3107 tonight, about 2300 tracks online. I'm OK with wiki the way its developing, its the rest of my life thats ******* **** *** **** theese days.
