this is the continuation of my to-do-list thread I used to write in the german developers board.
Since the german board is getting less and less attention and I need a place to drop some quick to dos, thoughts, stats and so on, I'll continue here.
Yes, you are invited to read along, one day theese days will be thought of as "the beginning", and especially comparing earlier expectations with latter results has been quite funny some times.
You might stumple upon some cryptic notes, stating which code documents have been changed, so I can use this a s a changelog too - it might turn out a big mistake to keep developing the code without any proper documentation. Just ignore theese.
So whats up theese days?
Member 750 registerred yesterday, 1535 jamtracks online, 76 active musicians
average around 350 unique visits a day while google-adds-campaign III for wikiloops is about to run out (got a coupon for 75 euros worth of google adds three times).
Site-wise, the change of profile page including the stage was a big project with some works left to do,
and the fixed layout was a usefull change to make wiki viewable on wider screens (compromising on everyone with less than 1024px w-solution...).
Next tasks:
pics for fancount 500 - 1000 (gotta catch up with adam ;))
no-thumb-on-own-jam rule
check attachment options in forum, might be they are only admin-available so far...
remake of wallnotifications, including basic welcome notice and info on friends uploads
startpage redesign, incl. random jam & changing best likeds
easy-moderation panel for changing wrong declarations whithout calling the database backend, incl. standard notification of the user... too hard to write theese anew every time, sorry
keeping up the accountant-work behind the business... hate it.
as always backups & preparation of the end of this year. thinking about doing a once-a-year email callback to all ghosts, undecided yet...
doesn't look like I'm gonna ge bored any time soon ;)

I's lot of fun listening to music here and even much more fun adding own music to the wonderful tracks from the community. Therefore I'm supporter!
