About a sailing couple
Tried to cross the North Atlantic
In the middle of a blowing storm

They couldn’t save themselves
When the mast fell off
And it knocked him over
And gave him a compound fracture
On his leg
But he tried to get back in the boat
So the crew took over
But it wasn’t enough
You can’t sail on hope
You gotta have that rope
Connected to the sail
But it broke and it was dragging behind

While the boat is tossing and it’s gonna sink

One more time
I told ya it doesn’t end well
Both of them deceased on arrival
It’s really quite a shame

So they sent the helicopter
And a C-130
And the Coast Guard too
But they didn’t make it out
Fatal, DOA
But they saved the boat.
