Wade Oh... I like that snake! We have that type here...big pythons, but not as big as in the movie. They do get up to eight meters. +2

Leftdaloops1019 Just thought ya'll had finished eating pasta--But now tha you mention it it does have a slight Shawn Phillips sound to it. I think the effects really open up the play--keeps it from being "SAX" song which can be a yawn, rhymes with Shawn, but besides the rhyming, leaves room for others to display!(a Pride and Prejudice ref) +1

Wade If you mean what I was using it's a Digitech Vocal 300 box. I bought it used and whoever had it programmed that sound. I think it's mostly phaser. +1

kimbo wonderfull! love the way the sax comes in and gradually it dawn that it is indeed a sax we're listening to...that slow reveal is in itself interesting, like a really good stripper.:D+1

Wade Just the way it happened on the day. I'm not very good with operating the foot pedal while playing so there's not much subtlety to it. Can't walk and chew gum at the same time either. +1

Wade Still learning how to use effects and when they are appropriate. Will hopefully get it down some day. Started out with that effect and lessened it half way through. hard for me to remember what it may sound like as I also hear the "live" sound of the sax which is not what the box delivers to the recorder. +0

Wade Wish you could have seen it for real. Chris lives in a very remote area of Australia. 4WD access that gets cut off when it rains. Only "service" is a phone line. Water from the creek, power from the sun. Very basic. He has a dingo living with him. Grows wicked dope for a living. +1
