I tried out a new microphone configuration (Glyn Johns) and I'm still trying to iron it out. I'll probably end up going back to a close mic setup because I don't have the right mics really. Maybe someone can work with this. It's kind of boring...

It's only 4 mics vs 7. If I had a couple large diaphragm mics for overheads it would sound 10x better.

Hey Shanks, sounding better than ever man! Really great. Smooth, perfect timing, and a new and improved sound! Drums sound great, ride cymbal sounds great. Yeah G and K will have no issues making this a great one. You'll see.

Glyn Johns is da bomb! Good recording mentor! Im focusing on kick and snare. Sounds good. I like the kick clean tight and snappy.
