Thanks man <3, I like the tone too! :) Strangely enough it didn't take much work and it's fairly natural. Thought I'd bring out one of my other guitars which doesn't see much action (FENDER FMT TELECASTER HH IN BLACK CHERRY BURST). Neck pickup and a bit of reverb... :o

not sure if you've ever seen the movie Crossroads. there's a scene where he sits down (after the bullshit of the lost song), with all his emotions, and just starts playing the guitar...like letting it all out. this totally reminded me of it :W

Oh lol! Have I seen the movie Crossroads...?! :o Let's just say, I'm not going to admit the countless hours I spent trying (and failing) to nail the arpeggios... It always ended up like Jack Butler (funny that Steve Vai actually played those parts, then had to act as if he couldn't). I don't think Ry Cooder got enough credit for all the Slide/Blues guitar parts in that film. Having said that, at the time it was all about Steve Vai for me anyway. ;)

ok, we're definitely on the same wavelength now :) i watched that movie countless times, my brother and i would act out the final scene all the time lol. yes, Ry Cooder and the blues/slide stuff is AMAZING! :W
