DanDiplo I always knew you were a fungi! :) Really like this style of playing, with the loopy arepegiations playing off each other. What are your influences for this, because I like the style?+4

rootshell just a fungi hanging out on the 'loops LOL :) subconsciously, it's probably influenced by wikiloops members like you and others Dan. i don't really listen to this type of style, other that what i might come across on the loops. i do listen to your work and like the art you put into it to achieve feeling, sound, layering, and texture, going beyond notes. i was trying for effect and layering, and patterns, since the beat, to me, seemed a little electro-trance-like, especially towards the end, where i loop the playing longer and the drums are driving it. thanks for the listen Dan, i always appreciate it <3 +3

Its all incredible but the Riff from 2:06 is like the Gates of Hades Opening Wide and the host of hell pouring out:o

rootshell hehe no substances were taken for this, but mycelium is good for the soil :) thanks a lot Peter. i wanted to approach this with a Static-X electro-metal angle, but i scrapped it and went sorta electro-trance maybe??? not sure, just random patterns to try and create various effects and sounds :) <3 +1

flavien13 absolutely beautiful. is that backward at the beginning? great stroke. kudos to both of you, as usual.+2
Janvier 13 2021 01:27:43

rootshell thanks Flavien...that part is a guitar effect that sounds like it's sucking notes in. when i "fade up" on it, it gives this backwards/vacuum style of notes :) +0

rootshell i kind of like that fade-in effect, especially for transitions...probably picked it up from others here on the 'loops :D +1
