Hi Mike, so cool you joined me here! Love the idea to start with a slightly hectic heart beat!! That's cool! Also great drums and the bass line seems really really nice to me. And what a cool idea to mix the female vocals into it!!! I am totally happy you took the time to play together with me!! The only thing I ask myself (and you ..): might the mix be a it too hot? On my headphones (its early morning) seem not able to diefferentiated play the song that way ..

Maybe you try to get the single tracks on lower volume, so taht the master track does not got higher than -3db? And might it be, that you have a EQ on the master track with a bit too much low end? I know this very well - you work on a track and goes all the way in obne direction .. what can help is, to compare the sound with a professional track which might be of a similar sound composition.. you can hear alternately your track and the professional one and the nyou can correct yourself much better, as if you are doing just on your own .. might that be an idea?
