-Lyrical Meaning-

Giving it away: you give yourself to the day only to feel stuck there.
Otherside of the year: is like the last part of the year.
It takes forever to get there but when you do its like diamonds in your ears, but never any glass. That means that you have these very expensive...some say the best you can have gems only to find you have no glass to cut with them.
They look nice, but that's pretty much it.


Under your skin: line means everything in your life that is under your skin.
Meaning its inside of you as an inner torment in a sense.
Carry me away from standing naked on a car: signifies that that person is going crazy from it all and finds themselves in bad choices and regrets, but knows it and is crying for help.

3am doesnt come any earlier: is wanting that time to just get there so it will be over faster. Meanwhile wishing that there was something there that makes you feel something..anything.

Its getting colder in september: (the otherside of the year), meaning you can feel yourself becoming more numb to everything in life and it feeling meaningless.
That time doesnt feel like I remember: (It feels different now than it did in the past)
This years resolution long lost: is someone who cant seem to keep positive goals and have a direction that is sustained.
