This is one I've been wanting to jump on as well, and may still within a year or two. For now I'm very happy to hear what you've done. Kind of a Coltrane vibe in your playing on this. Very cool.

I'd rather hear your whimsy and and melodic playing than hear you go all the way down his cold and emotionless path. He was a technical genius, so gets kudos for that. Otherwise I'd prefer to hear you.

I'd always rather see/hear players finding their own path rather than just being encouraged to copy the sound/style of others. The thing that makes playing and art move forward isn't copiers and tribute bands, it's the originals.

Yes we are in full lockdown in NZ now. Family at home. Online lessons for the children. Quite peaceful and a good time to work for me. My wife works from home too in IT so very fortunate. Not going out at all. I hope everyone else who can will do this too. Get rid of this damn thing.
