Wade Not exactly jug band, but love your take on this fun style. The brass is too refined. Check out how they got that sound. Literally blowing and humming across the top of a big bottle/jug. Very easy to do. Excellent tune and so much fun!+1

Wade Unlike real instruments it takes about 30 second to learn to play a "jug". You have to be able to hum in tune is the only criteria...or at least make a musical grunt. +1

Wade Any 4 liter or bigger glass or ceramic container with a small (2 to 3 cm) opening on top works. Yes, I've done this...incredibly simple. It's a buzz or hum with breath to give a tone which reverberates in the "jug". The bigger the jug the better the reverberation. Google jug band and you'll see what it's about. Here's a video:
