Just replaced my ancient 75 dollar bass strings with a 10 dollar set my nephew gave me :O My first tune here with 'em. They work fine, perfect for good ole rock and roll baby!! :) Great jam from Tom and Greg, rock on fellas!! :D:W

gEEZ...I go thru 5 sets a month at $12 bucks a pop.Elixir Polywebs yet. On bass Im strictly Rotosounds so those are $35 a pop but I dont play bass as much anymore. I was replacing those one set a month back on here a few years ago.
If I even detect or feel any dullness , the strings are off. Thats usually 8 hours of playing.I am very hard on strings.

thanks bro .. yeah guitar strings are a fair bit cheaper but they don't last very long! I'm sure these bass strings are made in China .. I use to buy more expensive strings but then got into buying chinese roundwounds off eBay .. they work fine. The ones I just took off were Thomastik-Infeld jazz series light .. the E was .089 .. the set I just put on the E was .100 ... not diggin the extra fatness, I like the lights and I already see I got to adjust the truss from the xtra tension .. a bigger fatter tone though .. oh well .. :D
