Does this fit on here? I really dug WhiteDrum's track, and wanted to play along, but the thing it wanted to be faster so... I squeezed the template - i don't know the exact tempo. Anyway i sped it up and "made" this rhythm i have had stuck in my head onto the track. I like it but it is a tough fit to me...

Great guitar play Buzz! I want to tell you how I hear your track: 3d room, guitar behind the drums, in the back of the room. Drums in front, but also has a space itself. Can you check how it sounds when the drums have no room and tell me that?
In the current form, but you can save a lot of space for Ads, and that's good :)

BuzzBomber Yes, and you are right, I did add reverb to the drums for fun, it matches the guitar reverb(s) i will post one with dry drums for comaprison.. +0

BuzzBomber Hey I threw that Verb-less drum version of this track on the HD file of this page, to keep it tidy. let me know if this is what you meant. +1

abuitremorem Thank you for your help Buzz. Have downloaded your mp3 track, heard in my DAW and compared again with WL. There is a big difference in my ears. Just as I hear him in my DAW, I never thought to ask you. Now I have to think about what that means for me. +1

BuzzBomber I don't always do it- and i am not a great mixer- but i think it can help put both parts "in the same room" by sharing the reverb pattern - it may just be voo-doo too, and just more mud... +0

BuzzBomber also, sometimes i put the verb by itself on a separate track, and delay that signal (often around .650 of a second, dependind on tempo) i think it keeps the presence but adds the verb- pretty effect-y, but i like it. +0

abuitremorem Thank you Buzz. I am also no mix master but I am trying to improve and am happy to receive tips from others. What you describe, I have just discovered recently, namely to separate the effects of the audio track and make various submix buses. But I'm not so consistent that I only take over the natural audio signal of the guitar in the DAW and process only there. That would be possible. It is often the case that I edit the sounds of a RIGS in the DAW again. A uniformity of the track, I also achieve in which I run everything on a SW-Amp. That changes everything again. +1

BuzzBomber Thanks, this time I left your track alone( a little 'verb) it both reminded me of, and did not remind me of the style i tried to apply... +1
