Reason to live (CT bass by wjl)
I took Tom's wonderful template without bass and tried different things on it. But in the end I decided to play more or less exactly the same as he did himself - it leaves more room for others if you don't overplay.
So why did I upload this? Because we still sound different even if we try to play the same. Interesting lesson, at least for me. And thanks to Tom for his wonderful reggae track.

Nothing wrong in any of that! The important thing is you had fun and maybe learned something to add to your aresnal of techniques. Heres a great short video. I must have stole a few licks off just this video! I want to redo all my reggae tracks after watching it. Great job!

Danke Peter - aber das liegt an Tom, der hat's schon gleich perfekt komponiert. Und hast Du Devin's (Moonchild's) Version gehört? Da geht erst recht die Sonne auf... :)

this is great wjl, so happy that you are not shying away in the mixes now, you kept a very consistent bass line and that is har to do believe me, you nailed the reggae feel. Great

Thanks Jussef my friend! Well I've tried playing different things on this, but when comparing it to Moonchild's version with Tom's original bass, his always 'won'. So I stayed with what he composed - and now have Shi singing on 'my' track ;) Thanks again for listenting and for commenting - I really appreciate this! :)
