Dick Yes, Iwas thining Robert Fripp :)King Crimson is surely a band that takes a lot of getting used to (and not all of their albums are equally recommendable),but Robert Fripps early sound experiments were a milestone in guitar sound development for sure. I saw some old footage of him on some 50s or 60s BBC show, presenting his "Frippertronics", a prototype machine with reversed tape reels which he used to create soundscapes. Definetly worth checking out, that guy:)
MrA has -sadly- not been active on wikiloops for some time, but his unique grooves still get discovered every now and then. He's a genius guy, too :) +0
