Fiddling around with the nome again. A little chord loop.
Final recording for the old acoustic. I retire it.
Needs too many repairs and the electronics no longer available.
New replacement ordered. I remain with Godin.

Yes a very hard decision. And the guitar previously belong to my uncle who was my teacher when I was a young lad.

buy a replacement yes i could do that ... i could not part from the instrument though ... it might take some space to store it i know :) wonderful !

Issues with the neck/intonation could be fixed but the big problem is the electronics. No replacement parts available. Always a constant hum present that requires removal via noise reduction process in the daw.
You can hear it on Cody's track #86308 at the intro/outro of my add. I forgot to remove before uploading.
Probably hang it on the wall in the studio. I could never part with it.

It was delivered yesterday and I feel like a child with a new toy :)
It is an Godin Multiac SA model.
Not had much time to play with it but it sounds very similar to the old one. My first experience with a Richlite fingerboard material which has the feel and look of ebony. I really like that :) A most welcome 1 7/8 nut width to accommodate my fat fingers. The old one was 1 3/4 width. And I've never owned a white guitar with black fret board. I think its gorgeous :)
