Biography

Alles just for fun.

Instruments

recording devices

Reaper oder Cubase.
Ein Mr 816 X als Audiointerface.
Mic.: Sennheiser MK4 und ein Violett Amethyst.

Biography

Music from all over the world has always fascinated me. I've heard one and the other, from Mongolian overtone singing, rock and jazz to Bach and much more.
I'm self-taught. There have been long periods when I haven't played.
Two years ago, thanks to Corona, I remembered that I had had a Nay in the basement for ten years, but I couldn't get a sound out of it. Watched a few videos on Youtube and after some practice the first sound rang......
And there should be more and more.

I've also enjoyed building instruments: a monochord many years ago; a self-developed ekuphon made of electrical installation material, copper pipe and saxophone mouthpiece and a whole bunch of flutes: bansuris, nays, kavalas and shaney, a mixture of shakuhachi and nay. Everything just for fun.

instrument

In the order I 'learned' them:
For home use: guitar, saxophone, flute, monochord, bansuri, clarinet, oud, nay and kavala and the schaney.
However, I only play most of them occasionally. Currently more bansuri, nay and oud.

recording devices

Reaper or Cubase.
A Mr 816 X as audio interface.
Mic.: Sennheiser MK4 and a violet amethyst.
