Biography

I have been playing Bass and singing since early 50s when I traveled with my Wife who played Piano,Organ and 4 Mallet Vibes. We worked mostly clubs setup by our booking agent out of Philly. She was a fabulous pianist, having played a guest appearance with the Phila. Orchestra at age 16, and the only student of Adrean Rollini, a very early Jazz Vibraphone artist of the late 30 / 40s fame.She also was a member of Guitarist Frank Victor Quartet, playing Vibes. I feel honored to have been influenced by the great Musicians of that era. Unfortunately, Carpal Tunnel ended my playing some years ago.
I consider this site to be perhaps the finest gathering of able Musicians I have seen in many years! I am HOOKED!

About to be year 2018 and I have been absent from this group for over a year preparing music and getting my feet wet doing SingAlong shows at senior facilities. Since I am now 88 and still healthy I discovered great joy sharing my new songbook of 100+ lyrics and recorded music with folks around my age. It's amazing how many great songs were written In the 20s 30s and 40s. Seeing the faces of old folks light up and add their voices to the group as they recall pleasure moments from their youth make the hours spent putting it all together worth while. I have used a "Band in a box" music program, and upgrades, since about 1995 but only really got serious in 2017. It's an amazing program with hundreds of instrument choices. I'll be trying to figure out how to add on of my covers to this site, I hope you will give it a listen.

Ist singing solo at age 6,,UGH how good could that have been? Went to NYC to study Tap & singing at 16 yrs. Married at 17 and on the road working clubs etc. I never found fame but loved every moment of my time in the business.
Been in love with music for my entire life 86 yrs to date. This site has brought me GREAT pleasure!
